How do I allocate memory to Java?

The following is my computer system info:

Dell Insperion 530
4 gig ram, 32 bit Windows Vista sp2
233gig hdd
Intel Celeron cpu 450 @ 2.20 ghz

And I am running this version of JVM:
Java 6 update 26 @ 2048mb allocated to java
xmx2048 @jrme

I need to allocate memory to the heap files and improve the audio/visual performace if posiible.

You already have 2048 megabytes allocated to Java, any more would be overkill.

Why wont my Creative Webcam work in vista? Can i get it to work?

you just need to download drivers

Go here, and fill out the info needed for your webcam, and follow the instructions onscreen.
