TIPS: The main advice I would give is just to be very enthusiastic about Xerox. The people who work there have such a huge sense of pride in the company and they are very loyal to Xerox. You should sound very excited to have the chance of interviewing there. Do research before you go - make sure you know the current news about Xerox and then try to bring that up in your interview so you can show you really know the company. Also, Xerox loves "horizontal learning" - talk about things you have done just for the experience instead of just doing it to further your career.

Interview Details âXerox gives you a small application (Name,where you live,employment history etc.) Then they take you to the computer lab to take a typing test. Just type what you hear and do it within 35 wpm. If this is possible then you are pretty much hired. No extra skills are necessary,except speaking professionally.
Interview Question âNone. Pass the test and be friendly to the interviewer then you are hired! (Used common sense,made small talk with interviewer.)
Negotiation Details âThe interviewer will give a dist of what the job is like and if you are interested he/she will set you up with a date of when your training begins. Which consists of 5 weeks.

4. Went to interview: spent 30 minutes taking a computer test, 45 minutes waiting after I passed the test to meet with recruiter. By now it was me and two others. Recruiter took us on a tour of the production floor, then we went back to her office, she interviewed us one by one for about five minutes. She offered me the job, and I accepted. She told me to go back to the computer room to fill out some forms and the offer letter.
5. First day was four days later on a Monday

Interview Details âThe hiring process is pretty rigorous. First you must complete the application on there website. A few days late you will get a questionnaire emailed to you. Be advised that this questionnaire is NO JOKE! It's about 40 questions (mostly essay questions). These are involved questions asking things like tell me about a time you worked hard to help a customer. After you complete this (within 24 hours) you will get a call if you qualify. After this you must take an assessment. The assements are a typing test, a listening test where you listen to recorded phone calls and answer questions and a customer service inventory of about 100 questions. If you pass all the assessments you get to come in for an interview. The interview was pretty routine and lasted a little less than an hour. I was actually nervous based on the pre interview process. I was picturing a police type interrogation with bright lights. But it was a pretty enjoyable process as far as interviews go,
If you wow them on the interview and get the job then you consent to a drug test and background/credit check. It's a lot to do in a little bit of time. But worth it to work at a great company.

When writing a song for guitar, what do you think are the things you need to know (about guitar/notes)?

I have been playing guitar since I was 7 years old. I was head of a guitar department at a local high school. I now teach guitar and ukulele at Bellarmine University here in Louisville, Kentucky. It is really easy to write a song. I am also a Nashville Songwriter. I have a song on my latest CD. I wrote the musical arrangement. Go to www.cdbaby.com and listen to the song on my PRAISE THE LORD CD, "OH ANGEL OF GOD". What you need to know on the guitar is one of two things or both. When you play the chords and strum that is called RHYTHM guitar. When you play the words a person sings, that is called the melody or lead. If you don't have a melody/lead/tune to go with your words/lyrics just use a scale to find a tune. For examle the C scale would be C D E F G A B C. From just those notes, you can find your melody. I have written a guitar book due out in 2009. I have also written 5 ukulele books published by Mel Bay and 2 by Lanikai ukes. The Baritone uke is really the first four strings of the guitar, without the bass strings. Go to www.lanikaiukes and download the FREE baritone booklet. You will see how the sturm patterns using the chords over the words of the melody play the tune.
If you want to write it in tablature use the FINALE' Program on computer.
Or you can just write by hand the places on the fretboard, like tablature and write down the tune you play.
