computer info desktop background image

It is really annoying now... It doesn't seem like I have a virus or anything of the sort so I don't understand why my background picture is gone when I log on and all there is are the icons and a blue screen.
Please help ! I'm tired of putting the picture back as my desktop background everytime I log on.

We need a bit more info to really help you here. What operating system? Is it Windows 7 Starter? Are you logging off or completely restarting? How are you going about setting the background?

I wanna keep the picture on my computer desktop. Can i??? If so, how?? Like I wanna save the picture. Help?

⺠To place an AVATAR of Yahoo! you must create it before
â To do this go here: http://es.avatars.yahoo.com/
â Choose your gender and click on CREATE MY AVATAR
â Here you can choose the look you want (color of skin, eyes, hair), clothing and accessories (sunglasses, scarves, hats etc) also the background of your avatar, you can even put the flag of your country if you wish .
â When you finish is very important that we do not forget to click on the orange rectangle is below the avatar you're creating and to "save changes".
>> In line ready and have your Avatar yahoo.
â Click here>> http://profiles.yahoo.com/
â Here you will have to fill in some data (if they have not done before)
â Click on Change image
â click add avatar
â Now back to Yahoo! Answers.
â Enter your profile, clicking on your image or on the upper right where it says "My Profile"
â Click on Edit My Info

â Here you will have to cut it a little, click with the mouse and move the box to cut the picture and click Trim
