Verizon expands broadband network across Western Kentucky

Verizon Wireless has expanded the rollout of its high-speed wireless network to include all of its Western Kentucky coverage area. The expansion encompasses Burna, Benton, Draffenville, Eddyville, Fulton, Kuttawa, La Center, Marion, Sturgis and Wickliffe.

According to the company, with the wireless broadband network now available throughout western Kentucky, its customers can enjoy services like BroadbandAccess, a high-speed wireless service, and V Cast, a consumer-oriented multimedia service.

Greg Haller, president of Kentucky/Indiana/Michigan region at Verizon Wireless, said: "The expansion of our wireless broadband network across the remainder of our western Kentucky coverage area provides our customers with access to the very latest wireless technology.
