Hi everyone
I have had this PC for some years now. I have this huge messages in my yahoo messenger archive which are somehow important for me to keep. So, I like to transfer them to my new computer but it takes a long time if I just copy paste them somewhere in order to keep them, is there any other ways that I could do this?! Has yahoo messenger this feature?!
Thanks so much

You can do a 'search on computer for Yahoo! Messenger and see where the location is because that is where Yahoo messenger is located
I took and looked a little further with this
COMPLETE LOCATION - TRY IT
C:\Program Files
\Yahoo!
\Messenger
\Profiles
\(Yahoo ID)- OR OTHER USER
\ARCHIVE
\MESSAGES
i WOULD BACK THE WHOLE THING UP ONTO A DVD
OR TO AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE
then you can just look in message archives when you get home
Here is a website that I found and have been using that will be just perfect for what you want

How do I make a backup disc for my computer?
auntdindy
I want to create a backup disc for my computer so that I can buy a new computer. I also need to know how to delete all of my personal information.
Answer
what do you mean by personal information? cant you just delete them manually like deleting internet cache?
regarding the backup thing, do you intend to transfer your files to a new computer? or make a backup of the whole system, then transfer this into the new pc - which is i think not a wise thing to do, because a new pc means that it has new hardwares, so new drivers. i cant seem to understand your question. if you need to transfer important files, you can just copy and paste them into an external harddrive to transfer. with outlook, you can export everything into a pst file, then import them in the new pc.
this reminds me of a blog that is about backing up; everything you need to know about backcing up: http://www.backuphowto.info/
