Answer
3DS PROS:
-no 3D glasses.
-3D camera. Take pictures in 3D
-Very high storage capacity.
-Processor equal to that of a Nintendo Gamecube!
-Streetpass (Send and receive info from other 3DS' automatically, like highscores and things)
-Spotpass (Connect to the internet through wireless and download updates automatically)
-Switch between 2D and 3D with a slider, so it doesn't hurt your eyes.
-Activity log (Like the Wii, see how much you've been playing)
-Mii Plaza (Again, like the Wii, except better! also send people Miis through Streetpass)
-Mii maker (Take a picture of yourself or a friend and it turns it into a mii)
-Internet browser and shop built in.
-Sound (Plays mp3s straight from SD card with sound manipulation software built in)
-VIRTUAL CONSOLE! Download and play old Gameboy games! Mario! Zelda! Pokemon!
-Backwards compatible with every DS game
-Range of colours. (Only blue and black on the release day, but they've previewed Red, green etc)
-Shiny
-Friend list capable to add 100 friends.
-Send messages to your friends through swapnote/spotpass
-Amazing 3D depth.
-Amazing selection of games.
3DS CONS:
-Can hurt your eyes if you leave it on 3D mode and you are under 7.
-Worst battery life of any gadget world-wide so far, It only lasts 3 hours with the 3D turned on, Wireless, streetpass, and playing a 3DS game. Allthough you can fix this with the Nyko powerPack+ Search it online.
-Gets overheated easily on surface with a cushion, Blanket, etc.
PSP pros:
1.PS2 quality graphics (128 bit I believe, give or take a bit or 2)
2. Can play movies on a data stick
3. Can play music on a data stick
4.Wireless multiplayer online or off (Uses wi-fi)
5. Analog stick
6. can effectively port most ps2 and ps1 games (no dual analog so not everything can be ported, although they will no doubt find a way around this.)
7. Huge 4.3" screen
8. supports over 16.7 million colors, more than 16.69 million more than the GBA.
9. usb support
10. comes with a rechargeable battery (contrary to popular belief)
11. charges in less than half the time the DS does
12. good looking LCD display
13. sleek design
14. WEB ACCESS!!!! (via a legal hack)
15. can be used in a way not intended without the use of emulators (i.e. scanning memos on your computer and porting them to your PSP in a Word document, making it a phone book!)
16. 333 megahertz
17. Headphone jack
18. can store photos on a data stick
19. Can turn on instantly from the off position (you flip the switch and a quarter second later you are playing)
PSP Cons:
1.every once in a while on certain games pixels will burn out and come back 5 seconds later good as new. Not a big problem but it does get annoying.
2. Battery not as powerful as DS or GBA, 5-10 hours of gameplay per charge
3. Does not get too loud, I reccomend (sp?) playing with headphones if you were looking forward to killing your hearing, with headphones it is really loud.
4. You have to reset the internal clock if you let the battery get to 0%
5. loading times, just like the consoles.
6. The compatible memory sticks are quite a rip off
7. Some what more fragile (and better looking) than the DS
PS VITA PROS:
- Great HW quality, solid feeling dual joy-sticks, better than its predecessor
- Quality screen OLED 5â 960x544
- Responsive touch screen (Capacitive) (Popularized by the iPhone, Capacitive touch screens have become common place for brand name devices for the pass 2-3 years)
- Responsive Gaming action, no lag felt during game play in all games including Wipeout, StarDust Delta (though itâs the least you can expect from a custom tailored game SW and HW solution, unlike generic solutions like Windows, Android solutions where hardware resources available on the device are unknown to the SW developer)
- Lots of hardware controls (Gyro, Accel, and your regular HW buttons)
- Light Weight, easy to hold for extend periods of time (on the flip side, this could mean small battery, and explain the 3-5 hr battery life, since the battery is almost always the most physically dense thus heavy component of a system)
- Loud enough speaker (when not covered by finger)
PS VITA CONS:
- Hardware: The SGX543CPU is from 2009 (probably reasonable for a $250 device)
- Hardware: No GPS (probably reasonable for a $250 device)
- Packaging: Typical Sony package, bare essentials, no free bonuses like cheap sleeve common with other manufacturers

Need a program to monitor RAM and/or CPU usage?

James W
Just wanted a program, like those who give you a little icon at the taskbar next to your time, showing you how much ram you're using, or CPU. Preferably those that show the number at the taskbar.
I had Systweak Cacheboost once, but it freezes my computer once in a while, so anyone know any similiar programs?
I am using Windows XP.
Answer
For Gadgets, for the side bar in Vista and Windows 7, this link http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windowsvista/tp/vistagadgetssu.htm has a list of good monitors.
Otherwise, Winbar and CS Fire Monitor, found here http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/system/fwmonitor.html would probably work for you. There's also All CPU http://all-cpu-meter.en.softonic.com/ , Rain Meter http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/legacy.html , CPU Right Mark http://cpu.rightmark.org/ , and CPU & Ram Meter http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/CPU-Ram-Meter.shtml . Any of these will work, but they all look different. You may have to try a few to find one that appeals most to you.
Do be aware, however, that monitoring programs do use a lot of energy and resources by themselves, especially on slower machines. I can increase my battery life on my laptop by 50% on my middle-end Macbook Pro if I close all my monitoring programs.
