are u sure they are binoculars? They sound like opera glasses.
You can go to different search engines( google, yahoo, excite, askjeeves, etc) and put in key words. prehaps vintage binoculars or opera glasses, u can combine words, such as vintage opera glasses or opera glass pic.
Good luck

Is it possible to cure myopia without glasses or surgery?

DreamCa
I can barely see without my glasses, I can only see things if they are in a distance of the length of a spoon. The glasses I wear are always falling off and people laugh at me because I wear them, I can't read well because they keep falling off, and my parents won't allow me to get a surgery until I'm 18, even then it'll be too expensive for me. Is there any other way to cure it? I'm sad because I keep wondering, if I can barely see now, what happens when I'm older?
Answer
Maybe. See: http://gettingstronger.org/2010/07/improve-eyesight-and-throw-away-your-glasses/
It sounds like you have quite a high prescription so you wont be able to use plus lens therapy and even just taking your glasses off for near-work may not be plausible, but one thing you could do is wear a weaker prescription when you are doing near-work, i.e. reading/using a computer. An old pair that are around 2 diopters less than your current full distance prescription should suffice. The idea is to ensure that your eyes never focus any closer than the furthest extent of their focal range (see source for more info). This should give your eyes the chance to gradually recover.
