how to transfer music from PC to IPod 5 generation without ITunes?

my cousin recently gave me an iPod and im scared to connect it to iTunes because it will delete all my music which i have over 1000 songs that will take forever to re download again. is there a software i can use to sync my ipod to which will not delete my 1000 songs? i heard media monkey works but idk. please help

Depends what operative system you have .. If you have Mac I can suggest you aiseesoft iPod manager for Mac .. If you use Microsoft I would recommend media widget .. I like both because they allow you even to transfer music from iPod to computers in just minutes .. Just read the info about media widget because they charge you every year I think or just download song exporter on your iPod it will allow you to download your songs one by one via wifi to your computer .. On each Widget there is a small "i" icon. If you click on that it will let you add and remove Stock Tickers from the list. Dashboard is awesome once you get the hang of it. You can download a ton of Widgets from Apple's website.
