WOW, seems everyone is getting viruses of some sort these days. Either I'm Lucky or the programs I'm using work extremely well. I'd like to help but I'm going to need more info.
Assuming you can power up your computer and login
I'd like you to download a few programs, and install them on the infected computer the programs are: Avast Antivirus, Zone Alarm Firewall, and Firefox. Downloading these three programs will allow you to surf the web for the most part safely and secure you PC for the most part. The links for the sites are below.

Avast
Avast is a cool anti-virus program that I use, my favorite feature is the boot time scan feature. You are asked if you want to shcedule one during the setup after installation, say yes. When you do it will ask to restart you PC, say yes if you want any spyware, virus, or rootkit that the program finds to be removed from your system. When your computer restarts you won't see much of a difference except after you see the windows logo screen you will see a screen you probably never saw before, do not panic that the avast boot-time scan running let run but be warn it is very likely to take and extremely long time more than an hour or so. when it finds a virus it will ask what action you want it to take, delete, quarantine, ingnore etc. each option will be next to a number. To apply the action simply input the number then press enter. IIf the program action fails to delete simply quarrentine so at a later date it can be removed when the program updates and has more info on the bug. After it finish scanning and applying all actions it will continue to boot normally and hopefully bug free system. This program has built-in anti-virus, and anti-rootkit and the best part is it's free all you have to to is register to get a license key and all you need is an email to do that.
While Avast may remove the initial problem the key to preventing this from happening again lies not just with keeping this program up to date but by installing the other two programs as well. The key is preventative maintenance, theseb three programs should keep your PC from going down again.

Firefox is a cool web browser. It is faster and more secure than Internet Explorer (7 included) Both Friends and I noticed that with this browser you get an increase in performance and more secure surfing experience. If you already have kudos to you, I am currently using it and happy with it. When you download and install it go to the tools menu and go to add ons and get more add-ons. From the add-ons page you can download all sorts of things for your browser, cool visual themes and a bunch of other stuff to make it faster and better and more secure too. Download a security and privacy add-on called WOT, it is and add on the rates sites based on four categories, based on these categories you can make a more informed choice when going to various site and avoid downloading viruses, and malicious software. And the best part is It's free!
ZoneAlarm
ZoneAlarm is simply put an awesome firewall that you must download. It helps keeps hackers from your PC and alerts you when various programs try to access the internet this is important to keep unknown programs from downloading viruses to you PC without you knowledge. It's very effective I trust and use it and so should you. It is free and works absolutely great.

The time stamp on my Yahoo email is wrong. The time on my computer (lower right corner is correct). How do I correct the Yahoo email time.

Move your mouse over your name at the top of "this" page and select "Account Info".
You will be asked to sign in with your password.
Next page scroll down where it says "Account Settings", then click on "Set language, site, time zone" then change to the proper time zone.
Click [Save] when you are done.
