Can I use this cable with a computers without windows 7. I would like to transfer pictures from my computer to a computerized picture frame.

flash drives and external hard drives are easier to deal with. if they are both hooked up to a network and they are both Windows based, then just use the network. Using the network is typically slower, but if you don't have a lot then it shouldn't be a problem.

without deleting them from the old computer. I have a Belkin transfer cable, but I'm not sure if using that deletes the old computer info. They are both running Windows 7.

use file and settings transfer in accessories/system tools. this will copy your entire profile to an external hard drive then same to transfer to new computer without removing from old one
