help me find a gud os. is it right to buy buy an apple pc in india coz i do not think apple has much service centres in india and what is the diff bet mac os n latest MS windows

At this moment in time writing this answer to you. I am using a Free Open Source Operating System using a live dvd, it is NOT installed on my computer, I can do anything I want. just using a Live Disk and I know I would never get hacked or get a Virus This is how I do my online banking using a Live disk. or a USB jump drive, that I carry around in my pocket When you can do that with Mac OS/x or windows then you can say they are excellent operating systems
You need to educate yourself and stop being conned by Apple and Microsoft, You can check out the latest up to date November 11.11.11 free open source operating systems here the will work on the Mac and your PC

Gromit is 100% right on that one, but another way to check it (along with other info) is through the iStat Nano widget. If you just go to the mac website (http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/?r=dbw) you can download a lot of cool widgets. I like the iStat/iStat Nano because it makes me feel like I know what's going on with my computer: it tells you how much memory the different programs you are running are using as well as the fan speed, the heat of various computer parts, battery life, etc. You might want to check it out if you're interested in that type of thing.
