I was having a convo with this guy, and I refused to give him my address and phone. He told me that it was okay because in the while we had talked he got my IP address and Computer info. Please help. I am scared.

Anyone can get that info. He will need more to hack into your computer.

i was thinking about changing my ip address because i moved from the u.s. to canada. Now that i'm in canada, i can't watch lots of stuff because my computer always says, "this video isn't available from your location" or "this video can only be viewed from within the united states" i heard you can fix this by changing your ip address. If i change my ip address, does my computer slow down or anything? Will any of my info get hacked or anything? I just want to know if anything bad happens in general?


Answer
If you moved from the US to Canada, then your IP address is already changed. Your IP address is assigned by your internet service provider, which I assume is now different since your living in a different country.
