If I keylog my own computer, does the logger send info back to to other people?

I'm thinking of doing it just because the people I live with have been so shifty on MY COMPUTER. They all have their own, so that makes me think that maybe they're downloading viruses?

So, if I download a keylogging program, will it be confidential? or will the program also send my info to a million advertising sites as well?

When your computer needs fixing, who do you call?

When your computer gets a virus, runs really really slow or stops working altogether, who do you call? Do you fix it yourself, do you have your kids do it, your neighbor,...?

Just want to get some info on this so please include some more details if you like but please don't be a smart @ss this is a serious question.

If it's a virus or another software problem i fix it myself...If it's a hardware problem i call my friend who owns a computer shop where i bought my pc !
