Bumskaboom
Well, since i was a toddler i was really interested in technology (computers and gadgets) and this coming year i'm gonna start myself in the navy, well i was just wondering can anybody with any knowledge or any known experience from the field of navy that is best suited for me, btw i like operating computers alot, i adapt very easily to pilot+manage gadgets.
Answer
technology is huge, and if your smart and good with PC and gadgets--its not your Hobby- its your passion. Your best to call it your passion- sounds much better. Now hopefully u will do well on your navy test. Start to research the navy IT field and also the Navy Communications field.
To become an expert-you really need to stay up to date on all the newest and latetest tech news. Start buying magazines like PC mag, Apple mags, make yourself a library of info.
Good Luck with this--I also have a passion for all this technology--I love it.

What exactly does a "Blueberry" type device do, I am not really gadget savvy and?
Ozark Woma
I want to get my daughter one for her birthday, she is professional, on the go all the time, needs info sometimes off the internet asap, can someone help me pick the right thing?
I knew it was some type of berry, just not sure, I know she wont mind paying a monthly fee if it is not too high.

You mean a Blackberry? It's a PDA (basically a handheld computer) which can send/receive calls, emails, messages, and now you can surf the net, use it as a GPS, calendar, planner. Basically it's uses are quite diverse now and can make a good gift if the person you're getting it for can afford a data plan. Look up data plans prices, sometimes it can get quite expensive.
In my opinion, the Blackberry Curve 8300 is quite nice.
