What salary range should I seek as a new graduate in Computer Information Systems?
Brian H
I am a senior at James Madison University studying Computer Information Systems and I plan to pursue a career in IT Consulting or Advisory. One question I am consistently asked in interviews is what my salary expectations are.
The problem I am having is that I don't know what I should be expecting; I don't want to sell myself short, but I also don't want to bid too high for a job I would have really enjoyed.
Where should I look to get a really good grip on what starting salary range I should expect?
Answer
40k to 50k depending on how good you are and what company you are applying for
