Whats the best usb microphone to buy for recording my band?

Just formed a band and we have wrote some songs but no means of recording it. What would be a very good usb microphone to do so. And if you dont reccomend one microphone then what should we get? Thanks in advance.

With computers getting so much better and multi tracking software so easy to use, why not start off with a much better solution than going with one microphone. This will give you the option to mix down your tracks and even add multiple tracks and separate vocal takes.

How to record from cassette tape to computer?

I have nearly a 2 hour conversation on cassette tape that I want to record to my PC. Microsoft sound recorder is only 60 seconds. Is there something in Windows that will allow me to do this recording?
I am using an external microphone. What is the easiest way to do this without buying more software?
