It means choosing a major that is likely to land you a caeer. You could be interested in music, Sociology, Theology, and then graduate and not find a job. Now you owe the student loans back. The cliche "choose what interests you" no longer applies. Accounting, Computers, Engineering and Nursing, are where the jobs are at. The rest is merely hit, miss, gamble, risk, or you need a masters too. Being miserable doing something that's so and so, will at least keep you off the streets and pay the bills and allow you to buy the corvette and the boat. That being explained, which of these two majors would allow me to make the most money?
1) Accounting
2) Computer Info Technology
Answer
Accounting. Accounting can be dull, boring, monotonous, but it has to be done. And those who do it well tend to be paid well.

I have only 1 computer that has everything on it that I need in life. Should I be using one of those portable hard drives or a disc to save everything? Also; if I ever can afford a laptop how can I transfer the information - through a usb? Thank you in advance!
Answer
There are several options at your disposal. 1) You can save a backup on a seperate partition, however if your hard drive is where the problem resides, then that will not fix that problem. 2) if your hard drive is the problem, an external hard drive is an also possible solution.
and to answer you 2nd question, there are straight-through USB cables availible for purchase at any electronics retailer, and they will allow drag and drop data transfer from one device to another, however the simplest solution still stands to be the external hard drive.
for good prices on external hard drives, check out www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com
also i recommend a 500 GB My Book, they generally run around $80-$90 and are the toughest ones on the market.
