I have a Dell Dimension computer and a Dell laptop. Is there someway to power up either one of these computers from a completely powered-off condition? Would I need to parallel the power-up pushbutton with an external circuit, or is there an easier way? Thanks in advance!
Answer
Most Dell computers come with a 10/100 Ethernet port with WOL (Wake On LAN).
Using the Wake on LAN feature would be the easiest way to do this.

Is there any way someone can see info on my computer remotely?

If so, can I find out who, or the area of the country they did this from. I did change the routers password yesterday. But I am worried about info since I went wireless in June.

Answer
If they hack your wireless you have to change all account passwords. And do it from another computer. Most likely it's someone near by because that's small fish for most accomplished people. They can re-route your email, I.m. Or any output of your computer. Wireless is dangerous. There are two keys in a password that hackers can't uncode and one is ~ so be carefull.
