I called a computer repair service to do a remote repair on my laptop. Without asking me any personal information, other than my first name and phone number, they proceeded to do the repairs. Skip forward 2 months I get a call from the computer repair company informing me I owed them for services incurred as well as late fees for not paying my bill, and that my account would be sent to collections. I completely forgot about the repairs done and at first had no idea what they were talking about. I never received a a bill or a phone call reminding me to pay a bill at all. My question is how can they send a bill to collections without any personal information? The only info they have is my first name and my phone number. No billing address, last name, or credit card. I honestly think they realized they did the wrong thing by not getting any credit card and personal info before hand, and now they are threatening me. The right thing to do is pay the bill obviously but now I'm going through a rough patch and cant afford to pay $200. Is it possible my account will be sent to collections? or are they just threatening me?

Not being able to afford is no reason not to pay them but $200 is about the double rate for online repair service. And they messed up by not telling you the rate for the repair, payment method,and other information, .You are right the collection thing is a threat I don't think they have enough information to send to collections But they can get your address from the internet with your Name and phone number. I personaly think you should decide how much you should pay and negotiate the cost. ( now that you have info about normal service fees) after all they fixed your computer.

Im wondering how I can become a computer repair technician, like what classes or degree plan do I need to take to become one.

It will be best to contact your local college to see what courses you need to take to become a computer technician.
For example there are many community (2 year) colleges that offer Associate's Degrees for Computer Technician...here is the syllabus at the Montgomery College, Maryland:
