Hi, Need some help from the pro's here. I just got a new slimline computer and put a video card in - BFG GeForce 210 512mb. Installed their drivers / and windows 7 went and pulled drivers automatically as well.

Unfortunately my computer now locks up once a day randomly. Sometimes just browsing the web. I had bought a previous video card MSI VN210 as well and it also had the lock up problem. Anyone know what causes this?
Other info:
Running windows 7
Running dual 23" monitors
Using low profile card due to slimline case.
Thanks for your advice and help!
Computer specs.

Tried running with case open and lockup still occurs. bummer.
Answer
Your computer's specs would help. ie. make/model, processor, ram, psu wattage etc. otherwise its all a bunch of guessing.
edit: From what I can tell you are trying to run a 300watt card with a 220 watt power supply. Check the minimum specs of the card and then re check the specs of your computer... I ain't no rocket scientist but thats gotta cause issues.

Computer Resolution on Windows 7?
rfc_he@rdm
Hi, I have windows 7 and somehow I hit something on my computer screen and now it's blown up... I've already tried the control panel>adjust screen resolution thing and that hasn't helped me- tried practically everything in the control panel and nothing has worked- even tried system restore but that didn't change anything.. please help!
THANKS SO MUCH!
Answer
the 'adjust screen resolution' isn't in windows 7 per se, it may be in your system, but that would be your specific systme.brand.
i am using an ordinary verions of 7, not from a brand name computer corp and this isn't in control panel.
you make these adjust ments similarly to how you did in xp, by right clicking on the desktop.
you may also find you need to use the program which comes with the graphics adapter, not 7 specifically.
we need more info for better help...
what version of 7, what make/midle of ps, what gpu,e tc, etc, etc,?
