We opened up the computer the best that we could and let it dry out for the day. When we started it up in the morning the computer started fine but, the keyboard does not work. Any thoughts?
Answer
You need to try Silica Gel Packets. There was a good article on associatedcontent.com that explains how to dry an iPod, MP3 player, cell phones, or any electronics. You need to place your keyboard in a zip lock bag with Silica Gel Packets. Silica Gel will remove all the moisture from the phone and its components, something air drying will not do!
Just Google "Silica Gel Packets" and you will find several companies selling these products. There is also a web site called: http://www.SilicaGelPackets.co.uk that has them.

There's GRC's "ClicKey"
http://www.grc.com/freeware/clickey.htm
But I recall another, and I'm now hunting down its URL.

...I'm back. I thought RJL Software made one, but, alas, no.
So, then, that leaves the old "Tiper" software, which I can't seem to find anywhere anymore; however, I DID find a mention of it (and a possibly-good download link) in a MyDigitalLife article...

I know there's one more because about a year ago I installed it, didn't like it (not because it didn't do exactly what it said it would do, but, rather, because I don't like the electronic clicking), and so I uninstalled it. For the life of me, I can't find it, though.
Still, I hope what I've provided has somehow helped.
