ok so a little bit ago my computer was disconnected by the cord from the back while it was on, now i have been getting a message that says " A Disk Read Error Occured, press CTRL,ALT, and Delete to restart, everytime i restart i get the same thing then i was gettin a message that was like "0 Diskette failure" then it says Strike F1 to re boot or F2 to go into system info or something liek that, any reason this is happening i really need help and for sure this is not thr bad computer im on

Your getting a DOS error 0 diskette error is for default boot device "0" is your A drive (floppy) if DOS can't find a boot device anywhere it always returns to A. My thoughts are that when the rear power cable came off as your computer was descending the stairs the data Ribbon cable came loose also so check your cables first or even replace it.

i am getting a mac and wanted to get one soon, with os tiger, but now i am hearing something about lepoard. can someone please tell me when its coming out, what it will have, and if it is worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know the release date for Leopard, so can't help you there.
But as for that previous person's Mac-bashing...
I'm a computer professional -- programmer and systems administrator. Have been for many years. I've used DOS, Windows (starting at Windows 1.0, if you can believe that!), Unix, Linux, Mac, and other less-well-known OSes.
The Mac laptop that I'm typing on right now has crashed ONLY when the battery went dead (and I wasn't paying attention to the warnings). I can run every worthwhile productivity program on the Mac that I could on Windows.
If you are getting an Intel Mac, you can choose from Mac OSX, Windows, and even several versions of Linux! Macs are great -- don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
As for is Tiger worth waiting for? ... Maybe. Depends on what you need and want. If you want "state of the art," sure, go ahead and wait. But you'll NEVER get your new system because there will ALWAYS be something new and better just around the corner. And keep in mind that with every new OS version, the system requirements go up. So if you're getting a system NOW, get the OS that's available NOW. If you want to upgrade later, decide THEN if it's a good choice, worth the money, etc.
