intel core 2 duo T7250 1.5GHz
and a
intel core 2 duo T7300 2.00 GHz
what processor is my computer running.
on welcome centre it says 1.5ghz, ??? :(

its dualcore so it shows as 2 processors

Changing Computer Processor?

Just wondering is there a way to upgrade the computer processor without having to change the whole computer aka buy a new one?
and yes this be a pretty old computer but works great its fast but the problem is that most pc games or some programs require 2.0GHz+ and i dont bother tryin them since i know my 2gb of Ram wont help. is it possible to be able to put a new processor that is compatible with my pc?
like i said its fast and works great but the only problem i see its the GHz .. really dont want to try something that require something my computer dont have (common sense lol)

Sure. Stay within the P4 family and you should be okay. Pick up like a 3.0GHz. The higher GHz runs tend to run super hot and without extra cooling they will pop. Depending on your particular power supply (varies even with your particular model) you may need to upgrade your PSU to allow for the bigger power draw of the high speed processor.
