I wanted to know how to put an active background on my windows xp. i know how to put a regular background on but i want to know how to put a moving interacting background. i have the code

Computer has no start menu or desktop icons, only a desktop background?

My problem is similar to this one:

Except mine won't even let me log on even in Safe Mode.. It'll log me on and directly after log me back off. And when I do manage to get on, there are no desktop icons or a start menu. And when I press "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" nothing happens. HELP PLEASE!! Thanks in advance. :D
If you need any additional info to help, please tell me.
And I also really don't want to have to reformat it either, I have LOTS of important things on there and such. Thanks so much either way.
I already tried Restoring it from the last point I had it at, still only my desktop background showing. Please help, I need it before Oct. 12th, please and thanks.

I was wondering whether your computer has had a maintenance for a long time.If it hasn't, check the internal components.By the way, are you a computer enthusiast? If not, better have somebody who knows. If the components have accumulated dust (graphic card, hard disc, motherboard and even the CPU (processor), things can go wrong. My worst experience was that I have to reboot several times and the computer won't even finish BIOS display.Done all the tech stuff only to find out a handful of dust accumulating at the back of the motherboard. After dust spraying with compressed air...whoola! everything was back to normal.It might not the the straight answer, but oftentimes, simple things are the first step before getting on to complicated ones.Good luck!
