I know the obivous answer, but I just want to make sure,
What's better?
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
or
Windows 7 Ultimate gamer edition x86-bit
I watched a video on a gameplay of a HD 5770 and he said he has a gamer edition of windows 7. I was not sure if it's better for gaming and editing which is what I'm going to do with my desktop I'm building. I know the bigger the bit is better because it can processes more info and you can give your rig better performance, but I just want to conform it's true from people who have used both regular and gamer edition. I'm planning on getting it later, for now I'll be using the wins7 home edition.

There is also a 64-bit version of the gamer edition and yes it's a official version of it. Just search it up on youtube....

yeah... don't listen to that dude. Windows 7 home premium is the best for pretty much anything.
He is using a pirated copy of windows 7 that is going to have activation problems.

Is my CPU temp ok? Too high?

Hello, I am running a desktop with a Nvidia 9100 integrated graphics card (I was never too much into pc games so I had no idea about graphic cards), and well lately its started to lag video HORRIBLY. I put Windows 7 and it was ok for about 2 months maybe, then the lag started. I made sure I had drivers updated etc, I know that much. I opened it up tonight and cleaned the heat-sink and put some new heat-sink on it (radio shack brand as I was in a bind and the only place left open near me was radio shack.) I then got a desktop gadget for Win 7 that wold show me my temp for my card, because I could not find any temp or anything in BIOS, not even sure it was the right bios as it had no info about anything, so might be a different screen. I've been in BIOS on diff computer before but I've had this one for about 4 months and had not yet gotten into it etc so not sure if that was it or not. Well my gadget says its 67 degrees celcius and well that seems like a lot, in ferenheit its like 156 degrees, how can something get that hot and be ok? I've never monitored temps before, so is this ok? Normal? What? I was thinking of getting some Arctic Silver as I heard thats good but pricey and I'd have to take the bus, 4 in total to get there and back and I don't know if its worth it, if maybe its just my card sucks or what. Any thoughts? Advice? This all started with lagging video, then lagging web video like Hulu and Youtube, etc. I turned off video acceleration and it worked for online videos, but media center or windows media player, dvd, etc still lagged. Seems ok now, at least right now, hope it stays ok, but I don't know. Is this a ok temp? My computer is a HP Pavillion p6130y.

Well I am a bit lost now, the gadget lists my graphics card GeForice 9100 67c. If you look at the pic I posted a link for it shows all temps for many things, the 4 cores, etc.

It is very high if that is the idle temperature! It is quite possible the paste between the heat sink and fan wasn't applied properly and not transferring the heat across. Have you upgraded to Adobe flash 10.1 or something (I haven't done it myself so can't remember what version number) cause that uses your video card to help try and render the flash page and I've heard it has been quite a resource hog (Again, never used it so I'm not sure).
Is the heat sink fan running fast enough? Does it rev up at high temperatures etc? Could be that is the cause so you'll need something like SpeedFan to monitor the temperature.
