my computer info visual basic image

Nick
I want to write a computer program for students at my school. I want students to be able to put in the number of calories that they eat in a day and be able to put in the calories burned in a day. I plan on using a book to look up calories from foods and book to show how many calories are burned doing different activities. I want students to simply punch in numbers and the program do the math. (This is for a graduate class)
Answer
i'm assuming you've never written a program before.
this sounds like a simple job for visual basic. this would be the easiest way to get a user interface created.
all the info you need to make a simple visual basic program should be available online, or in the first few chapters of "learning visual basic" which could probably be found in a library.
