Do they watch where you're going remotely? or do they have to confiscate your computer in order to find out the sites you visited?
Answer
The government uses programs to sift through vast amounts of data looking for patterns such as emails with the word "bomb" or "kill the president" and such. Naturally, these programs are quite powerful and very sophisticated. (Google "echelon" and "carnivore" for more info).
Government law-enforcement agencies like the FBI or codebreakers like the NSA aren't interested in you individually unless you're part of a larger network of criminals, (or are a criminal yourself). Are you frequenting forums where naughty people hang out? Are you getting together with those people in their garages? Are you letting them stay over at your house and hiding guns and bomb-making materials under your floorboards? Then there is a possibilty the NSA or FBI has a file on you and are watching you very closely. In that event, caseworkers are assigned who will track your usernames, email and cell phone use and find out who you know and how often you talk to them. They'll build a case before they take action against you.
As for watching you remotely, it can be done only if they have access to your computer first. It might interest you to know that under the Patriot Act, law-enforcement agents can enter your home without a search warrant, and set up protocols on your computer that allow them to monitor you remotely. Almost anything they'd want to know they can access through your ISP, though. They'd only need your hard drive if you've got information stored on it they want to see.
Pedophiles who use the internet have more to worry about. There are special investigators at both the State and the Federal level who spend their time finding out who is dealing what and where they are. They track those persons through ISP registrations, and can get search warrants to access membership rosters, comparing them against known usernames and passwords and birthdates, etc. Once they have a solid case, they raid the culprit's home, and confiscate everything.
Don't be paranoid, though. Think of yourself as a little fish in a big ocean. The government casts its nets far and wide looking for the big, dangerous fish. Enjoy your swim.

go to pricewatch.com
go to Desktop>NO O/S
build your own system
WoW is not a graphic intense game, you can run it on one of those $200 basic systems listed. just keep in mind youll need to buy a version of windows to install on your comp.
for a few years i was runnin wow on:
p4 2.8
1g of ram
256 mb vid card
and it ran great
for about $950 (minues software) i built
core 2 duo 3.0
4gig 800 ddr2 ram
256 8800gts
game runs smoother now, but tbo the only huge difference i see if my view distance and spell detail (only during raids)
dont spend a lot of money on a computer ot run WOW, the game doesnt take much at all
