how to cut other computer wifi connection, and protect my computer from being cut?
now i need high connection for my school task.
but the wifi is too low, because of the large amount user.
what program the best i use?

Are you saying that other people are logging into your network and you want to make sure that does not happen?

1) Goto Start/Run
2) Type in "cmd"
Vista
1) Click the Start button
2) Type in "command"
Once you are in the command prompt:
1)Type in "ipconfig"
2) In your Internet browser type in "http://" followed by your default gateway (found in the command prompt)
***Example: http://192.168.1.1 (try clicking the link)
3) Login (search online for login info) Usually admin, password
3) There should be a link on the side somewhere. It should have several options like WEP, WPA etc.
Another method is implementing MAC addressing or statically assigned IP addresses.

My sister got a laptop and i want to create a private network that requires a password in order to use that network for internet. My computer is connected to the DLink DIR-615 wireless router. What are the steps in creating the private password protected network?

connect to the router's config web page (open the command prompt window by clicking start and in xp click run and type in cmd and enter and in vista/7 type cmd into the search box and hit enter and type in ipconfig at the prompt to get the default gateway address then put that address into your browser address bar and hit enter or go or whatever) login, lookup the login info for that router if you don't know it, it might be printed on the bottom of the router or just search online, the default is the same for every router in a model line. then go to its wireless security setup page and enable wpa2 which is the most secure encryption method and make sure its enabled. You will generate a password for it and once it is setup, you will need to reconnect all wireless devices to it or change the properties of the saved connection for this router and add the passphrase and perhaps set the correct security method. Thats it.
