Well you have no information as to what type of server you'll be running. You can not do anything like that on the free hosting websites that let you build websites for free at least not that I know of. You can either user your home computer and buy a static ip address/ you can use your dynamic ip address if you plan on being the only one to use it or if your ISP doesn't catch port 80 then you can have people type in your ip address and get on your server... however it will change now and then hence Dynamic. To run it at home and just tinker with it I suggest Wamp server it comes with Apache web server with PHP embedded and Mysql as the relational database. If you want a more commercial use out of it then you will have to go with GoDaddy or someone and they will have those services available to you in the Linux servers. If you go windows you will need to learn ASP and SQL.

What kind of video card is required for this computer?

DymeC
I'm planning to buy a new video card for my computer. The video card i'm going to buy is G-force GTX295. However, my question is, is it compatible with my PC? I own an acer aspire M5641 and I want to know if there is a way for me to check the video card compatibility.
((More info on my PC can be found here: http://www.pasarit.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=786))
Answer
Your G-force GTX295 card will work on this pc but you need to do a couple of upgrades...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1)Upgrade your power supply unit as it is only 300watts.
The GTX 295 requires a 6-pin, and an 8-pin, PCIE power connector. BFG states the minimum power requirements as a 680W PSU that has a combined 12V current rating of 46A or more because your graphic card is a real "power hungry" type.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2)To fix the graphic card you might have to get new SATA data cables that have one end with a 90 degree plug else the video card can not be seated properly in the pci-e slot
Please read the detailed review of your pc here
