i was thinking about changing my ip address because i moved from the u.s. to canada. Now that i'm in canada, i can't watch lots of stuff because my computer always says, "this video isn't available from your location" or "this video can only be viewed from within the united states" i heard you can fix this by changing your ip address. If i change my ip address, does my computer slow down or anything? Will any of my info get hacked or anything? I just want to know if anything bad happens in general?

If you moved from the US to Canada, then your IP address is already changed. Your IP address is assigned by your internet service provider, which I assume is now different since your living in a different country.

My connection throughout my house lost its Internet access.
On one of my computers a popup appeared saying inappropriate words, it kind of looked like a chat thing so I would be able to talk back but I quickly closed it. The popup was labelled Coldypc?
I have a few different games downloaded along with xfire and steam. I also had hamachi downloaded but I quickly uninstalled that after I noticed this..
Any suggestions? How can I tell if there's a key logger? I am using 3G right now on my phone.
