Answer
Yes, as long as you have the xbox360 vga av cable, you can use it on your monitor with the vga input. A caveat though, I did not research your particular monitor since I assumed you had a newer flat screen LCD type monitor. With that being said, if it accepts a VGA it will work.

Remember, that you will not get sound though and will have to use the sound output RCA cables, RED and WHITE, in conjunction with a set of powered speakers. Remember to adjust the screen resolution from your xbox's settings from the dashboard to the resolution of your monitor and also the audio settings as well. If you don't set it correctly, the shape and appearance will be noticeably bad and will normally auto adjust back to where it was. My monitor adjusted automatically to the 16:9 aspect which is what most TV's are today, as opposed to the older tubed, rounded tv's.
Also, if you buy the Microsoft brand cable, it comes with the audio adapter to use to a 3.5mm (standard) headphone jack so you can put it into your computers audio input and route it through that if you have speakers on your computer. That's the way I have it now and works just fine. Let me know if you get it working right. Cheers.

How is it possible for humans to perceive a spectrum of colours on TV's and Computer moniters when they only emit Red, Blue and Green light from their pixels?
Answer
This is the additive color wheel. These produce a full range of colors by "adding" them to black.
Note that this system works pretty well for human eyes. Your parrot may love watching TV, but you can bet that he finds the colors to be wrong.
