I 'am in a roto league on yahoo fantasy baseball and would like to know how it scores points? Also how does an automatic draft work? Are you stuck in your opening draft position or does the computer stagger the order every round to make it fair?

n a Rotisserie League, fantasy teams are ranked from first to last in each of several statistical categories. Points are then awarded according to the order of finish in each category, and are totaled to determine an overall score and place.
So, if you are in a 12-team league, the team with the most home runs will receive 12 points, the team with the second most will receive 11 points, etc. In the case of a tie, each team involved receives an average of the total points dueâi.e., in the above example, if two teams were tied for first in homers, each would receive 11.5 points [(12 + 11) / 2 = 11.5].
Therefore, the maximum number of points that a team can earn is equal to the number of scoring categories within a league multiplied by the number of teams in the league. Similarly, the lowest number of points that a team can earn is equal to the number of scoring categories multiplied by one, which is the lowest score that can be achieved in any category.
So, if you were playing in a league with 12 teams and 12 scoring categories, the lowest point total possible is 12 [12 * 1 = 12] and the highest is 144 [12 * 12 = 144].
Rankings within the individual scoring categories (HR, RBI, etc.) are based on the cumulative stats earned by all active players during the season and not on any individual day or game.
Therefore, the overall ranking of your team will rise and fall depending on how it performs relative to the performance of other league members. So, the phenomenon of "losing points" can be explained as your rank falling in one or more of the statistical categories used in your league.
When you are unable to draft for yourself, our computer system will make intelligent choices for you. This will happen if you signed up for an Autopick Draft or are not present for all or part of your Live Draft.
The autopick system looks at both a player's position and ranking before making a selection. The computer looks to see which starting positions you need to fill, then selects the highest-rated player based on either our default ranking or your custom pre-draft rankings to fill one of those positions.
It is wise for all managers to custom-rank players. To do this, just go to your team page or Draft Central and select Edit Pre-Draft Rankings.

can i control ip based camera by using internet ?

i am planning to buy ip based camera.
can i control the ip camera through my website and i also want to review, record and watch live video by using my website.
i don't want it to broadcast .
what i need to do this things?
whether i require the internet static ip address for this ip camera or not ?

The system will run on a computer on your network with an IP, or it will have its own IP if its a stand alone system.
So its just like you computer, you will only be able to access it if you have port fowrding to that IP (provided you do have a router/firewall)
As far as broadcasting? I dont think you can broadcast to the internet :P If someome stumbles on the IP they may see you have a cam, and they can attemp to login, but just keep a good password on there....
But yes, you can, just foward the ports on your router/firewall, then on the internet go to http://YOURIP and it should popup the login info for the cam....
