I live in Toronto, but i was looking to go away for univeristy. Give me any suggestions on universities that would be good for hardware engineering prorgams.
more geared towards universities in Canada, particuarily Mcgill or Queens. Not sure if they have the hardware engineering programs
Answer
I would sugessed go to university of texas arlington. or University of Colorado. Those are good universities to look into. One you look into them just request a packet of infomation to be sent to you. They will be more than happy to
send the info on this school. Since I know that these universities are great, is because my Hero K.C. went to these schools. She loved these school's.
Good luck with your education path

Why am I having RAM issues on Parallels Desktop 6?

J.D.
I am running Windows XP on Parallels Desktop 6. Every time I configure the RAM to be 4gb, it isn't 4GB in the virtual machine. I go to the computer info in the virtual machine and it says I only have about half as much RAM as I set it to. What should I do?
Answer
1st ur xp is probably 32 bit - it can't address 4GB since it needs to use some of that address space to talk to other hardware in the system.
2nd u might have shared memory graphics which means more of the 4gb is used for that.
typically 4gb = 3.2gb in 32bit machines
take another 256mb or more for video and ur below 3gb.
