I am a 7th grade teacher with basic computer knowledge. I can cut and paste...lol
I have managed to scan and copy to word but cannot get the info to paste onto the alta vista translation page. If I just type on wordpad then I can cut and paste it onto the alta vista translation page and print it.... but when I try to do it with my scanned image it doesn't work. I know it has something to do with the type of file like jpeg or something like that but that is where I become illiterate.

How much Computer Programming knowledge do you need if you are Expecting to do a degree in Computer Science?
I am sixteen years old and have quite a basic computer programming knowledge. I do however love the subject and so am looking forward towards doing a degree in the field. I am interested to know how much background knowledge (if any at all) would be required and recommended to do this. Any suggestions are very much welcome.
