I'm doing a report and I was just wondering which i should pick to write about(we have to pick the one we want to win for presidency). I was going to vote for Ron Paul but I need something people think he could help. But we have VERY limited computer time. Just need a little info of what he can do to help economy and such.

The basic thing you need to understand about economics is that it describes the process by which people - human society - get wealthy, by voluntary exchange - in other words trading, swapping - of goods and services. Economics has shown, over and over again, both in theory and in practice, that this process comes out of people being free. It does not come from taxes, bureaucracies, inflation, and war.
Ron Paul stands for
- peace - stopping the endless wars of aggression.
- freedom - getting government out of our face, and letting people decide for themselves, and
- sound money - ending government's disastrous printing of money.
This is the only way America can become prosperous again. There is no reason, and no evidence, for the belief that bigger and bigger government can do it. That's what's caused the problem in the first place!
War is *not* good for the economy. The reason the government does it is because they love power, and they get to channel billions of dollars in their own direction.
Government control of anything and everything is *not* good for the economy. This is exactly the same idea as communism - that if only the government would control everything then what a paradise we'd have. It's nonsense.
Printing money is *not* good for the economy. It takes from the average person and gives to the big banks. It's unfair as well as the cause of the current economic crises.
