Where to look up old air force squadrons?

My grandfather was in world war II. He is elderly and doesn't know how to use a computer. He asked me to look up info on his air force squad. I have the bomb squad number and his squadron number. Any ideas where to begin this search? I have no clue.

computer starts up with the loading screen then goes blank or shuts off?

My roommates computer starts up with the Dell screen, and the video card info, then either goes to a black screen while remaining on or immediate shutting off. We've cleaned it out with Air Duster and the issue persists. What can we do?

Unplug your hard drive then turn on your pc and see if it gets past where it usually turns off, or you could try resetting your bios
