most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
download firefox for free, Just have a try:

Suggest a permanent profession for me/college?

AnonDude
I just turned 17 and I am thinking deeply about this all the time.
I'd like a good list of professions that match what I love to do.
I'll start with what I'm good and bad at in school.
I'm very very good at simple math including stuff all the way up through geometry due to my mind being logical in that way.
Algebra 2 and Trig I struggled a ton with. (huge weakness)
In english I love to write, and I feel consistent with writing great quality poems and essays.
I also love computer classes.
The rest I'm just average at. (history, band, chemistry, etc.)
Overall I got a B- or higher in all my classes.
Outside of school...
I love to write programs such as things in VBS (very basic scripting) and autoit, I plan to someday proceed to something like C++ etc.
I love to write... I have written books/journals with poems and entries etc. hundreds of pages worth of them....and am planning to further expand my vocabulary and write better.
I live in california and would love to keep myself within the state.
Give any suggestions for jobs, professions or colleges you think I'd be good at given this basic info.
Thanks, I'll choose the answer I think is most well explained.

Information on every major:

This link considers certain degrees useless as the number of jobs that will be created in the field up to 2018 is less than the number of graduates in one year in that major

Here is a list of average starting & mid-career salaries for most 4 year majors. Note these stats only apply to people who actually got a job in that field. Many graduates in the lower half of the list never get a job in their field & are not counted.
The higher they pay, the harder the major & generally the more math needed. Just be aware that high pay does not mean high demand.

But on the bright side, if you have a genuine interest in the field you are pursuing & are willing to throw yourself in it & do anything for it, you will fare better than someone doing something because they canât think of anything better to do. Those with a real passion for something can move mountains to become successful, but if you donât have that fire in you, you are at a disadvantage
