My sound wasn't working so I asked a friend to fix it and he did a system restore to restore it to its original status. I didn't want that so I turned it off in the process and now the screen is blank and it won't start up. What should I do? I need answers fast please!

try to Reboot ur pc, and then boot in safe mode ( usually by hitting the "F8" button )
did it work ?
if not ...then you've a real problem with your Software !
Your windows is damaged now.
and the only solution is "Re-installing " your OS !
It's kinda easy.
any Copy works.
Windows 7 :
----------------------
Install it via any DVD . when done , go to google , and download :
windows 7 loader v1.7.7 by daz.
it activates your Windows 7.
or if you don't have time
Run CMD as administrator, and then type the following :
cscript slmgr.vbs -rearm
that's it ^_^
a new Genuine copy :D
as i said :

remove your account , create a new one . Remove the Audio and Video Drivers. ( recommended)
restart your computer . it will work. otherwise , you should Remove more Drivers !
if your computer didn't run in safe mode ...then you have to re-install your OS

How do I get rid of two viruses working alongside each other?

Okay so first I asked about the iloveyou.vbs virus. AND THEN I found out that i have a worm that disables task manager and THEN when I tried to solve that problem, I can't disable system restore because of the Group Policy, which is not availabe when I tried to change the options.
Should I just take all my files and buy a new computer? The thing is, I need the files that the iloveyou.vbs virus is hiding at the moment :( all my high school pictures... gone...
If this is hopeless, then fine. I will buy a new computer.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
