Hello, happy holidays everyone! I really wanted a new computer for Christmas however, due to my family's finances right now I can't, so I'm left with one other choice, that being upgrading my current one. This computer is horrible it constantly freezes, lags in-game, lags when I move the mouse in-game, shuts down, can't play any new games, and is I believe FULL of viruses. I know that everyone on here is quite intelligent so I would like to know if anyone can help me fix this rust-bucket up. I belive I need a new graphics card, a better virus protector, and more RAM and memory so am I right? Thank you so much guys once again happy holidays!
SYSTEM INFO:
Graphics Card: NVIDIA 7700
RAM:NO CLUE
Memory: NO CLUE
Virus protection: Trend Micro :(

Before someone suggests reformatting your hard drive and reinstalling your OS, do these things first. Download and install a free antivirus program from http://www.grisoft.com/doc/downloads-trials/us/crp/0?prd=isw&simple=1 Run a scan. Then download and install a free spyware program from http://www.spybot.com Run a scan.
Then go to Start>settings>control panel>computer management>disk defragmenter, and defrag your hard drive.
If you want to upgrade your RAM go to http://www.crucial.com and do the memory config scan. It will give you upgrade suggestions.

Why don't you take a look at this vid card instead?

(Frame rate info, etc., also. Not to be confused with the old 8800GTS!
This one has 128 Stream Processors, and will kick a 9500GT to the curb!)
Edit: Don't forget to upgrade the power supply. If you have 2GB's of DDR2 at 667MHz,(PC-5300), ram memory, you'll be just fine. (Should fit in your computer case. Check measurements to be sure. ->Length)
