LAPTOP BUYING - Would LOVE YOUR HELP/SUGGESTIONS (Info is continued below)?

Mike
I'm in my 40's and am an Instructor of Pharmacy and other medical subjects. Most of what I do on my home office desktop computer follows:
1. Prepare a LOT of MS-Word and Excel documents for my job
2. Prepare exams using Exam-Pro software
3. I enjoy watching TV shows on Hulu.com and use YouTube and FaceBook (but NOT the applications on FB)
--------------------------
I'm NOT into gaming at all........I know I do NOT want a notebook computer. I'm a pretty big guy (6'1"/220 pounds) and small laptops and smaller monitor/screens don't appeal to me.
I'd like to buy one that is $750 or less not including tax and do not want to buy online. I want Win. as my OS. I THINK a Pentium processor is the best--correct me if wrong. My Son just got an HP Model: G60-535DX -here's the specs:cell lithium-ion battery; DL DVD±RW/CD-RW drive; LightScribe technology; 15.6" widescreen; 320GB hard drive; built-in webcam; Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.....It's okay, but the screen is a bit too small for my liking.
With ALL the options, and my VERY limited knowledge, I'm at the mercy of others! But I TRUST people here more so than sales-reps at Best-Buy, etc.
One last thing--We do NOT have WIFI at my workplace. Someone said there's something I can plug in to a USB-port and HAVE an Internet connection anywhere? What are they and what do THEY cost?
---I will be VERY THANKFUL to anyone who takes their time to help me. You can also get me by e-mail if you clck on my avatar.
THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance for ANY help!
-Mike
4. View a lot of photos at PhotoSig.com and occassionaly use PhotoShop
Answer
I'll find you one. You just have to trust me.
Even if the laptop isnt 750$ it will do more than you need, trust me.
You do BASIC computing. Everyone wants to believe they do more than that, but they don't, and overspend.
best answer btw lol
