My Brother tried installing the Premium Version of Vista, and thought it would get rid of the "Home Version." To make a long story short, The other version stayed on and Filled up his D-Drive, and almost completly destroyed his computer. Is there a way to get that other Vista off, since clearly installing one didn't boot the other off? His D drive has been completely filled.
All answers are appreciated.
Oh other info: It's a Dell Inspiron 1525 If that helps.
EDIT: I read that someone said to delete Vista off the D drive, where would it be? or is it all the files on this part of vista?
And, How can I just return to factory settings, cause right now that sounds good to do
Answer
Delete Vista from the D drive. Reinstall Premium on the C drive. (You get to choose which drive to install it on.) NEVER write anything to the recovery partition of a Dell computer.
