I'm in the middle of a prank war with my husband... we keep changing our desktop computer's background to something that scares/offends the other. I thought it would be funny if there was a way I could block him from changing the background again and it was stuck with the current background image, which he hates! Is there anyway to do this with the basic version of Windows Vista? Thanks for any info... :)
Or if there was a way to password protect the settings, that would work also!

I believe (I'm not positive) if you set yourself as the administrator of the computer you alone have the ability to change the background. There could be a setting you have to change that makes is so only the administrator can do this... but you have to make sure you and your husband are using the same user on the computer, and you have to be the only administrator, not both of you... good luck =]

How do I make the background image on my computer look normal and not strectched looking?

I have a Windows 7 HP laptop. I google images and set them as my background image, but the picture is stretched and it doesn't look normal. How do I get the picture to look normal like the actual image on google? I hope somebody can tell me what do! Thanks!!
