OB3S3
I have just finished setting up a RAID 0 configuration on two 750gb hard drives. When i click on my computer, or run a performace test, it shows me only having one 750gb. When i go to the intel matrix storage console, it says i have 1.5tb. I know the hard drives are configured together, but shouldnt my computer be recognizing all of it?
Thanks for your help.
I checked and this is set up in RAID 0
Answer
Are you sure you are not running RAID 0+1
RAID1 is mirroring info on one disk is duplicated on the other so yr 1.5TB will become 750GB
Did you go to control pane,l administrative tools,
computer management, disk manager to check?

Questions about RAID?
John
I have a few questions about RAID. I have 2 SDD's and 1 HD in my computer. I want to raid the SSD's together. 1 drive has my OS and the other has games / programs. Here are my questions.
1: Can you raid 2 drives with data on them already? Or must you start fresh?
2: If I have to start fresh, how do i raid them with content already on them? Do i have to reformat the drives then boot to bios and raid them THEN insert the windows disc? What is the best way for me to achieve this?
3: Any other tidbits of info you think i should know about raiding the drives. I want to use RAID 0.
Answer
SSDs do RAID0 very well. Create the array, then format the drive (RAID arrays are recognized as single drives).
