remote desktop computer info 1 image
Ahmed Zada
My emails have been hacked. I found out that I had remote desktop connection 6.1 installed on my pc without me knowing. How can I reverse the hacking in some way so that I can retrieve the emails that I have been locked out of and also to know the username/ip address of the person who has hacked me so that I can file a lawsuit against him. My emails contain a lot of important/private information, please help me asap. Thank you!
Answer
Everyone has that on their computer or some form of it so that a tech can help you troubleshoot problems without being there. You have to give permission to someone to access it.
Where is the email? what kind? Is it outlook? what service provider to you have? I check my mail by Comcast but I can also go online to sign in and access my emails.
I believe you have some other mundane problem with your computer - not a hacker.

Answer
1.Through TCP/IP protocoll, ping, scaning IP numbers of certain server and from there getting information about your operation system
like version, your computer name, computer IP number, opened ports.Based on the data collected,he or she can craft commands/codes to gain full access, read, write, put virus/trojan,delete something,or just stealing important info.
2.Knowing exactly what kind of vulnerability your operating system has,he she can attack your computer using a malicios code that works perfectly for your operating system, gaining full access,watching/spying everything.
3.Via infected websites. This is a well known metod of bad guys. They create a website, which has in code, malicious scripts. These scripts are craftfully embeded into a image/banner,link,or tiny ads. These scripts get activated quickly upon moving your mouse over a banner,ad,image without/or clikcking on it.As result your computer get infected with a dangerous malicios code which serves as a point of comunication, transmitting data from your pc to the hacker pc.The nature and what this malicious hacking code does, depends from the purpose of the creator. The most common reason is money, stealing sensitive information, like passwords, credit card data, ssn numbers, also its well spread for personal spying motives, like girlfrend/boyfriend cheating stuff.
4.Via email. Its really very easy.Using some remote spying program,a hacker will send a email to victim with a trojan hidden into a image attachment.Upon infection the trojan will pass all info, like all pc screenshots and key used on keyboard from victim's pc to the hacker pc.
5.Abusing with trust. This can be done through remote desktop assistance, when somebody is giving remote access to his computer to a "friend"(hacker),for troubleshotting some computer problems.
If hacker has physically access to computer's victim, its really piece of cake.
The value of a updated antivirus and at least 3 updated antispyware programs outweight the value of a firewall.
