Where can I learn about car engines and stuff quick?

I'm a computer programmer and my friends always laugh at me because I don't know any normal stuff, particularly cars in general. How can I learn all about car engines and stuff? Thanks!

Hit up the library, internet, and even car forums for modded rides, you'll general info and info about aftermarket products. Either way, if youre not into it, screw it, you know your stuff with computers and thats talent + intelligence which = awesome.

How do I install the Awesome Mod for the Sims3?

Alright, I am a fairly computer literate person, my mom is a computer programmer and has taught me a lot about computer. I can not for the life of me figure out how to install this freaking awesome mod for my Sims 3 game. I have the Expansion Packs, Ambitions, Late Night, High End Loft Stuff, and maybe a few other stuff packs. I need someone to explain to me in plain English how to freaking install this thing.

I don't use Awesome Mod myself, I use Nraas' Master Controller, 'cause I'm scared of core mods like AM, heh.

But if all else fails, ask Pescado himself. I think he's around MTS and MATY. I haven't lurked in a while, so I dunno where he is, but someone has to know.
